Our boutique studio is a traveling show. We go on-location so you don't have to stress trying to get everyone in the studio. We love to use natural light the most - we simply love how it makes your eyes sparkle and your skin look like creamy butter. We've been known to turn a garage or two into a sweet light-reflecting spectacularfest on rainy days!

We're a little bit silly, a little bit rock-n-roll and a whole lot of laughs. We love glitter and all things that make your kiddos smile like they do when you're with them at home.

Here you'll find the scoop on what goes on behind the camera and the families we see through the lens, with a few sinful recipes and yadda-yaddas thrown in for good measure.

oh, lonely blog… poor poor you!

since it’s been next to 497 days since i’ve visited you oh, lonely blog… i’m not sure how to start out. perhaps i should introduce myself all over again. yes. that will do. so, i’m tara – the photographer at taraloo and your suppos-ed blog post choreographer. hunh. not too fab at that but i have been ever so fab with our clients so you can have a reason to exist. so there. but no fear! things are getting organized behind-the-scenes with some much-needed schedules which will be prettily posted all over our office. yay!

First item on the schedule is ‘blog post choreography’! yay! today shall be about a new project with the fabulous photogs over at chic critique. since my poor family rarely gets a glimpse through the end of my lens, i’m hopping on board with the glimpses 52 project! and my favorite part is they can be perfectly imperfect glimpses so they can come off the card and onto the blog. totally manageable pour moi.

first glimpse into what our life looks like… i like to call this one: homework-schmomework – and we do a LOT of it.
